I am a photographer based in Seattle, WA. I started carrying a camera while riding my bike and hiking in the Cascade mountains, finding that it forced me to slow down and enjoy things I otherwise would have sped right passed. I spent much of my early life moving quickly from this to that and missed so much. I'm incredibly thankful to have found this medium to express and understand life as it unfolds around me. 

I've always worked with my hands. I find myself primarily reaching for film, because it's hard to beat the feel of a mechanical camera and the process that unfolds around creating a negative. I'm fortunate to have the space and resources to maintain a darkroom in my basement, and process everything myself.  I love spending time sealed away, unpacking what I've captured.
